Felix Fermin

Hi!

I was born in South America and grew up in Miami, Florida, “The Sunshine State”, USA.

I am the English teacher at Neue Schule. I have over 20 years teaching experience and this would be my fourth year living and teaching in Austria. It has been very rewarding and I have had a wonderful time and lots of fun.

I am a passionate community service practitioner and love to take part in social projects. Hence, one of the highlights in my teaching career was teaching English to children inhabiting the slums of Caracas, Venezuela. Currently, in my leisure time I serve as a volunteer on an educational-social project carried out in schools throughout Vienna. Also, I like sports, music, art, and outdoor activities such as trekking and hiking.

As the father of a young boy, I also enjoy the wonderful adventure one can experience with children everyday. Therefore, I am very keen on teaching and learning with the team and children at Neue Schule!
